為宣傳臺南公共自行車T-Bike系統於八月八日父親節啟用，首波有二百八十部自行車正式上路，市長賴清德率市府官員及南科主管暖身試乘，進行「活力T-Bike南科雙輪輕旅行」，遊覽南科迎曦湖、霞客湖、願望公園（幾米公園），希望以南市首長自行車日帶動低碳城市風氣，讓自行車融入市民生活。

賴清德開心宣佈南市已有自己的自行車系統，市府首長自行車日來到南科，除有公共自行車暖身試乘，也希望團隊在工作之餘養成運動好習慣，有強健體魄及健康身心承擔壓力與任事，讓公務處理更順利，也歡迎全國好友來臺南體驗雙輪輕旅行的樂趣。

交通局長張政源介紹南市公共自行車採羽量鋁合金，內設三段變速，在台南都會公園、奇美博物館文化園區及南科等地設置十處站台，除開放「甲地租、乙地還」跨區借還便民措施，並以「兼具最後一哩路的交通工具和休閒旅遊器材的雙重功能」全新定位，以一卡通、悠遊卡、市民卡及信用卡上網註冊後，即日起至明年一月可免費租借，歡迎各地朋友來體驗。
